People in Yagba West, Kogi State, are once again under attack, with reports of several persons abducted today along Omi-Odo Ara Road. Families are living in fear, and no one even knows yet how many people were taken.

What makes it worse is that this is happening barely a day after another attack in the same area, where residents were dragged from their homes at night. Imagine going to bed and waking up to chaos.

At this point, these communities are exhausted and terrified. They just want safety, and they want their people back alive. Something has to change—rural communities deserve protection too.
