The Embassy of Ireland in Nigeria has announced that applications for the 2026 Ireland Fellows Programme will open on June 29, 2026. The initiative offers qualified Nigerians the chance to pursue fully funded one-year Master’s degrees at Irish universities.
The programme targets early and mid-career professionals from Nigeria and Ghana, aiming to enhance leadership skills and professional growth. Applicants must be citizens and residents of either country, hold at least a Second Class Lower Bachelor’s degree, and have a minimum of three years’ relevant work experience.
Nigerian applicants can also benefit from the Roger Casement Fellowship, which focuses on fields such as Law, Human Rights, and Governance.
Successful candidates will receive full financial support, including tuition, accommodation, monthly stipends, travel costs, visa fees, and health insurance.
