No qualm. I decided to stop going.
Every Sunday felt like disäster. Some even use schools and sitting rooms to start their own church.
This is crazy. As a long distance jogger it always felt weird to me.
But why?
Why plenty church but little believers?
It looks like these people are competing with each other.
And definitely. I think maybe. They are really competitive.
Because why would you introduce your church to me when you already know I am going to so so so church?
And why the fûcking shît on earth would you tell me the God in your church is better than the God in that church?
What is all these?
Why is Chrïstiänity going upsidedown?
Everyone is now having their own church.
Doesn't matter if it is only three people attending.
I see! No wonder the whole nätion is messed up. Seem like everyone chasing their own God.
Is God Travel? Because Why Would You Be Chasing It?
From Under-G to Stadium alone I could count up to 85 churches. The hêck?
And okay. Let's assume that is school area. Right? At least people are plenty around there and they all need a different church huh? Okay nah!
Now what about Caretaker? Odokoto? Oke Baby? Arowomole? Kajola? Baaki? Oke-Osuru, JK Atanda? And so on.
Why is churches jam-packed each other around there?
Every Sunday it will be hard to know who is who.
Oke Alapata is still there that I haven't mentioned. And Saabo. Idi Abebe. Takie. Oke Elerin. Agbowo. Alfa Tedo. And many more.
What about Aye Daade? Rounda? Papa Alajiki? Olomi? Isale Afon? Orita Naira? Isale Ora? Araada?
Arg!
Nigerians are going to church but Nigerians are not the type that fear God. (At least not that much).
You will see my people calling "Oloungbo emiko" (I swear to God I am not the one) when in reality they are the one.
We have sëx with each other's wife and we would still sit beside each other in church smiling and laughing and then waving our hands in worship to God.
And we lie. Very badly. All of us.
"My brother! I only buy this market #1,500 and now I'm selling it for you #1,450." That's a Yibo man for you.
You too look at it, where's the sense in that? He's not doing promo for everyone right?
'Me I'm not going to church o! Who want to go should start going.'
That's my own. And because of that I haven't have a genuine, serious girlfriend.
Why?
They all want to mold me. Mold me to what I'm not.
And parents are even worse.
"Is he a Christian or Muslim? Because you can't married someone who is not going to church. He can be going to mosque and at least we know he is doing something."
These people are lunätics, to me. You care about going to church or mosque more than the actual person who is going?
'Alabajo.' No wonder marriages are failing nowadays more than in the old days.
But anyway. Right now I want to write the first chapter of my novel "Mr. President".
