Sen. Peter Onyekachi Nwebonyi - Deputy chief whip of the senate has continued his inspection of the renovation and remodeling of dilapidated classroom blocks across Ebonyi North Senatorial District, as part of efforts to upgrade public schools to acceptable standards.
In line with the Senator’s commitment to quality delivery, Best education facilities and timely completion of projects, the Senior Special Assistant on Community Engagement and Humanitarian Welfare, Apostle Benjamin Obeji, today led a team of engineers on a comprehensive inspection tour of schools where renovation works are ongoing.
The team visited the following schools:
✓Oyikwa Amachi Primary School 2, Amachi DC, Abakaliki LGA.
✓Ndioke Ndiebor Ishieke Primary School, Ebonyi LGA.
✓Community Primary and Secondary School, Isophumini Mbeke Ishieke, Ebonyi LGA.
✓Boys Secondary School, Ezzangbo, Ohaukwu LGA.
✓Uloanwu Ishieke Primary School.
✓Ndiechi Ishieke Primary School.
Senator Nwebonyi stressed that every project must reflect quality, durability, and proper standards so that the facilities will serve the People effectively and stand the test of time.
He commended the contractor handling the project at Uloanwu Ishieke Primary School, Engr. Iyede Simeon, for the level of work completed so far.
He warned other contractors and project engineers against compromising standards.
He stated that only quality work and strict adherence to professional standards will guarantee continued opportunities and future contracts.
He therefore urged all contractors and engineers to ensure that every project meets approved specifications and delivers lasting value to the people.
