I’ve seen a lot of people doubt India’s potential to become a modern, high-tech economy. I don’t.
Yes, it’s a huge, complex country. Yes, growth isn’t always smooth. But India has everything it needs: a huge domestic market, top-tier engineers, bold reforms, and a population willing to work for change. Its per capita income is still low, meaning there’s enormous room to grow. Its manufacturing sector is just getting started, and reforms like new labor laws could unlock millions of workers, especially women.
History shows the first movers always face skepticism. People doubted Japan, then South Korea, then China. India is next. It might not be easy, but if growth continues at even today’s pace, the next 20 years could transform the country in ways people think are impossible.
I’m betting on India. And honestly? I think it can do it.
