During my farming days, I once saw something that almost made me interfere with nature — out of pure pity.
I noticed a bird standing unusually still.
Its feathers looked rough.
And then I saw it… ants — plenty of them — all over the bird.
My first reaction?
“Ah! This bird is finished.”
I was already thinking of chasing the ants away when an elderly farmer beside me laughed and said:
“Leave it. Nature is working.”
That sounded cruel to me at first.
But I watched.
The bird didn’t panic.
It didn’t fly away.
It just stood there… calmly… letting the ants do their thing.
Later that day, the bird flew off — stronger, cleaner, and more active than before.
That was the day I learned something they don’t teach you in books:
1.Some animals intentionally allow ants on their bodies.
2. The ants remove parasites, mites, and dead skin.
3. Some ants even release formic acid — a natural disinfectant.
No injections.
No antibiotics.
No pharmacy.
Just nature’s own treatment plan.
Funny thing?
If this happened to humans, we’d scream, run, and call pest control 😄
But animals?
They understand nature better than we do.
Lesson to note here:
1. Not every strange sight means danger.
2. Sometimes what looks like suffering…
3. is actually healing in progress.
Nature doesn’t rush.
Nature doesn’t panic.
Nature knows exactly what it’s doing.
