Feeding a picky toddler feels exhausting and frustrating sometimes, I know, right? One day they love something, the next day it’s suddenly offensive.
Here’s what can actually help new mothers:
Firstly, you have to start small. Don’t serve a full bowl of something new. Just add a tiny portion beside foods they already like.
Then try pairing new food with familiar ones. New foods feel less scary when served with safe favorites like Banana, Rice, or soft Egg.
You can make it fun, cut fruits into cute shapes, use colorful plates, or arrange meals creatively. Toddlers eat with their eyes first; it will attract them to eat it.
The most important be patient with them, sometimes a child needs to see a food multiple times before trying it. Rejection today doesn’t mean rejection forever.
The last part of it, you have to lead by example. Let them see you enjoying the food too. Toddlers love copying adults; of course, we all know that's their lifestyle.
