When I moved to Agege, finding a tailor taught me one quick lesson, don’t rush it. I walked around my area and noticed the shops near the  bus stops and junctions were always busy that was my first clue.

I asked a POS agent and a food seller, and both mentioned the same tailor. Before dropping my fabric, I checked finished clothes, not pictures. Clean stitching and neat finishing sealed it.

Prices in Agege are fair:

Native wear: ₦20k–₦30k

Simple wear: ₦10k–₦25k

I agreed on price and delivery date upfront and avoided paying everything at once.

Agege made it clear to me, if a tailor is good, the street will tell you.
