How important is physical attraction when choosing a partner?

Some people believe attraction is very important because you should genuinely like what you see when you look at your partner.

Others believe character, values, peace, respect, and compatibility matter far more because physical appearance can change over time.

But here’s the interesting part...

Can you truly build a successful relationship or marriage with someone you are not physically attracted to?

Or...

Can physical attraction grow over time as you get to know and love someone?

Would you choose someone who has an amazing character but you are not physically attracted to, or someone you find extremely attractive but whose character gives you constant headaches?
