As someone job hunting and chasing opportunities from Nigeria, I've learned one hard truth: your LinkedIn profile is often the first and only thing a recruiter sees before deciding if you're worth their time.

I thought my profile was fine. Good headline. Clean sections. Nothing obviously wrong.

Then I ran it through Claude AI.

Turns out there were gaps I couldn't see. Small things that quietly make recruiters scroll past you, especially when you're competing globally from here.

I fixed everything in less than 5 minutes. Here is exactly how.

Step 1: Go to LinkedIn on desk‐top. Click "More" on your profile and save it as a PDF.

Step 2: Open Claude AI. Upload the PDF. Then paste this prompt:

"You are an expert LinkedIn strategist. Audit my Headline, About section, Experience, and Skills and be brutally honest about what is costing me opportunities. Before you rewrite anything, ask me clarifying questions about my goals, audi‐ence, and niche. Then rewrite each section based on my an‐swers, using a keyword-rich headline, a punchy About sec‐tion that matches my exact voice, XYZ formula bullets for Experience with a maximum of three per role, and an ATS-optimized Skills section."

Step 3: Answer every question Claude asks. Goals, niche, audi‐ence. The better your answers, the better your results.

Step 4: Read through Claude's rewrite. If something feels off, tell Claude to fix it.

Step 5: Paste the final version into LinkedIn. Done.

Whether you're applying for scholarships, internships, or re‐mote roles, your profile is either working for you or against you. Five minutes is all it takes.

Don't procrastinate on this.

If this is the first time you're seeing my post; hey, I'm Peter. I go by PAMify. I'm a mecha‐tronics engineering student in Minna, obsessed with AI/ML, robotics, agentic automation, and web development.

Here on Feedcover, I'll be sharing:

  • What I'm learning in AI/ML, robotics, and mechatronics
  • Real projects I build
  • Scholarships especially international ones
  • Internships and research opportunities I find

Glad to be here. Let's grow together.
