I remain this day, I had gotten back from Church the previous day where someone got me really angry. I felt cheated, belittled, ignored in my own father's house. I thought of discussing the situation with my pastor but then I felt this sense of resentment which caused me not to alter any words. So I went back home still feeling angry and not satisfied with the way I was treated in church.
Fast forward to the next day, I woke up trying hard to stay positive and not be angry about what happened the previous day. So I went to the gym for my morning workout. Immediately I entered the gym, my eyes spotted the punching bag, I was motivated to learn boxing on that day. So I went ahead and informed the gym instructor , he was amazed knowing that girls always shy away from such difficult task.
Then he questioned me, why boxing today - in my response for personal defense. Thereafter I was placed under an instructor who taught me the basics of boxing, from leg placement to hand positioning to body movement. I was very attractive during this time.
When I was given the opportunity to punch, I punched real hard, then I noticed something shifted within my spirit, I wasn't as angry as before, tho not totally gone. On my next opportunity I punched real hard, at that point I just wanted to punch and not really respect to rules of the game.
After sometime I noticed I was completely filled with a positive energy, I wasn't angry about what happened the previous day .
Immediately I got home, took my bath, called my pastor and discovered what happened the previous day, how I wasn't happy with the way I was treated the previous day. I expressed myself boldly, openly without hurtful words, no words I might regret after
And that's how I dealt with that negative energy, so tell me how do you deal with negative energy??
Would you discuss about the thing that hurt you immediately or give it some time process your thoughts, deal with it from within before speaking just like I did.
