Before buying a single fish, i learned something: the fish themselves are only a part of the cost.
When people talk about starting catfish farming, they often focus on the price of Juveniles but that's only one part of the equation.
For my setup, i had to think about:
1- Pond/Setup
2- Juveniles
3- Feed
4- Water
5- treatment/Salt/Other supplies
6- Miscellaneous.
My biggest lesson is simple: Do not start a fish farm with funds for only the pond and Juveniles.
You need working capital to keep the fish alive, growing and in good condition.
