I woke up with sadness
on a gentle, windy morning
my mouth was too bitter to give thanks
for a day I already see the night
at the bathroom I lingered
wishing my pee runs a little longer
my wishes are the mountain heap
that makes everything blur,
nothing is enough
A preacher's megaphone rings through the silence, piercing my thoughts
His words felt like they're slowing the morning till everyone listens
i listened.
He is screaming now.
But why?
the dawn is quiet enough and people haven't started arguing.
plus mama is still asleep
I should hush him to lower his voice
But he grew louder.
I listened harder.
I didn't want to cry because I have waken up and felt it wasn't poetic.
I won't like to feel bad
for walking to the bathroom without help
and felt it's too much of a task to start the day.
i didn't want to say:
Lord forgive me, for i am grumpy in the mornings.
For wishing I have wings
Before even knowing where to fly.
