So now Rivers State politics is back at it again. 

The Assembly is talking impeachment over Fubara allegedly not submitting the budget but Ben Ukeji is out here saying, “Nah, this one no hold water.” Apparently, Section 122 of the 
constitution gives the governor leeway for six months, and with the 2025 budget + a state of emergency, the claim doesn’t really stick.

I don’t know about you, but I’m over here trying to figure out if this is 
serious governance or just another round of political drama. Like, are we really about to debate impeachment over something that may literally be allowed by law?
