Honestly, I respect Gov. Alex Otti’s stance on this one.

Peter Obi told him he plans to leave Labour Party, he wished him well but he is staying put. His reason is simple: LP brought him to power, and he feels responsible for fixing what’s broken instead of walking away.

I also like how he brushed off the APC invitation and chose to focus on governance. That Churchill line hit too: you won’t get anywhere if you stop to throw stones at every barking dog.

In Nigerian politics where defections happen overnight, staying to rebuild says a lot. Let’s see how it plays out.
