These days, so many people are getting engaged and saying “I DO.”
Love is beautiful, no doubt. But have you ever stopped to ask yourself:

“What happens after the wedding?”
This write-up is not to discourage anyone. Far from it.
Your marriage can work. You can have a beautiful and peaceful home.

But let’s be honest — the rate of divorce, separation, and broken homes today is alarming. It makes you wonder: what went wrong?

So many couples live under the same roof yet feel like strangers.
They bear the same surname but lack true unity.
They raise children together but are emotionally disconnected.

One thing I’ve learned is this:

The worst thing that can happen to a woman is to be connected to a man she is not united with.
And the worst thing that can happen to a man is living with a woman he is not truly one with.
Marriage is deeper than wedding pictures, rings, or the title “Mr & Mrs.”
Marriage is an institution — you learn, you grow, you build together.
And most importantly, marriage is God’s design.

The moment you begin to see God as the foundation of marriage, your understanding changes completely.

So before saying “I DO,” don’t let pressure, loneliness, age, or comparison push you into forever.
Marriage is not a competition.

This is a season where many people are learning to do marriage God’s way, and that is beautiful to see.
Healthy homes will rise.
Godly marriages will last. ❤️
