NYSC camp is one experience that humbles you real quick 😂

Imagine being a full-grown adult, yet your whole life is suddenly on a timetable, time to eat, time to bathe, time for lectures, time to sleep, time for games, even time for prayers and exercise. You just have to adjust!

Honestly, camp life comes with plenty of funny moments. Let me share a few I can’t forget:

One of the funniest things was during the SAED lectures. You’ll see one “big boy” standing, seriously fighting sleep, head nodding like a generator low on fuel 🤣

Meanwhile, others will be sitting quietly, pretending to listen but already deep in sleep, just trying not to get caught by soldiers. Even during parade sef, some people dey stand sleep! I still don’t understand how that one works 😭

Another funny experience? People hiding under their bunk beds just to avoid evening games 😂 Imagine a whole adult squeezing under the bed like a secondary school student. And when they catch you, your offence will be “sleeping at the wrong time” 😁

Then there are the smart ones who sneak to Mami Market to escape camp stress. Once you enter there, it’s like a different world, no shouting, no parade, just a soft life, small 😌

Honestly, the NYSC camp is stressful, but the funny moments make it unforgettable. From punishment drills to random friendships and all the crazy survival tactics, it’s an experience that stays with you.
