A friend of mine saw me scrolling on TikTok yesterday and asked me a question.He asked and i quote ” Why aren't you creating content on this app”,i found the question sudden and also a little bit puzzling and laughed it off. But for some reason the question continued circling through my head the rest of the day.

I had a couple of excuses,i’m human after all, I'll never run out of excuses.

I'm too shy

I don't know what content to create

I don't have a good phone

I'm too busy

It's not really my thing

I can definitely give more excuses other than these,but they are just excuses at the end of the day. They are just things i made up in my head to justify my unwillingness and laziness to actually do it.

So i decided to do something about it since it bothered me that much. But i still didn't know what content to create on TikTok and Instagram, and i was still unsure of what to tweet to avoid the heavy and brutal backlash on Twitter. So i decided to just forget about it and live my life without caring much.

But then i stumbled on Feedcover, it's a Social Content platform after all and it felt more welcoming than other social media platform i have access to.

So i decided to type this while sitting leisurely on the chair at my uncle's office,and inside the bank while waiting to be attended to. I'm creating content but without necessarily having to put pressure on myself and raking my brain. And it didn't have to be perfect,I just had to treat it like a page in my diary,like yapping session in the midst of people i knew nothing about which makes it a little bit nerve-racking but also easy and comfortable. And just like that i created what can be considered my first ever content.

So if you're seeing this, it's your sign to just do it. It doesn't have to be perfect or spectacular. As long as it is what you want to do and you're capable of doing it. Just do it
