University life sounds like freedom, glow-up, and soft living… until you actually step in and reality humbles you fast 😂 . Here’s how it was supposed to go vs how it’s really going:

Expectation will be like, University life will be soft. Oh, I’ll dress nicely every day, attend classes with your cute notebooks, make plenty of friends, and still have money left🤣🤣🤣Igbo people will say “Akuko,” meaning story for the gods🤣🤣🤣
Reality: You are going to have a few good outfits on rotation, your notebook is now a mix of notes, calculations, and food stains 🤣🤣 trust me, you are not going to attend all the lectures, and plenty of friends might be reduced to 2 people.

Another expectation looks like oh I am going to balance school, social life, business, relationship, and sleep perfectly. But trust me, the reality is totally different, my darling. You’re choosing one per week because life said pick your struggle🤣🤣🤣 I don’t mean to laugh though, but it's funny cause i have been there before.

Next expectation you felt like your Lecturers will guide you like mentors, you know na in secondary school teachers help you out 🤣🤣🤣 the reality is that nobody is coming to help you ooo instead is billing billing!!
The most fun part is feeling like you’ll cook healthy meals and save money.
Omo!! Better wake up from the dream cause bread, garri, and Indomie have officially joined your bloodstream 🤣🤣🤣.

Another game changer is when you feel by the final year, you’ll have life figured out. The truth is, somewhere you might still be asking yourself, “What am I actually doing with my life?” 😂

University teaches many things, but the biggest lesson is how to survive with low balance, low sleep, high expectations, and without your parents always being there to tell you what to do.
