At the core of our beliefs, culture, behaviors and general thinking, we Africans are the same. There are no significant fundamental difference in our national manifestations. This is the reason our social, economic, developmental and educational realities are similar, be it on the African continent in Haiti or in Jamaica.
These similarities at the core is what also make the likes of Asian countries to share developmental, social, economic and educational realities. From China to Singapore to Japan to South Korea to Taiwan to Hong Kong to Malaysia etc.
Take a look at India-Pakistan-Bangladesh-Srilanka-Nepal etc. They share similarities regarding social, economic, developmental and educational realities because they share similarities at their cultural (beliefs and ideals) core.
Take a look at the Arabs as well. UAE, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait etc share developmental, social and economic realities because of the similarities in their core.
If anyone asked me what the fundamental difference between Nigerians and other Africans are. It will be only one. We are more ambitious. And I think that our numbers is mainly responsible for the competitive spirit that fuels this high sense of ambition.
