Today, let us deal with its close relative; the forwarded message.

You know the one.

“URGENT!!! Doctors don't want you to know this…”

Then comes a blurry picture, seventeen exclamation marks and a recipe that allegedly cures every disease known to mankind. 

Please, my people.

Cancer treatment should not be based on who forwarded a message to you.

Good health information should come from credible medical professionals and trusted health organisations.

Ask questions.

Check your sources.

And if something promises to “cure all cancers”, your suspicion should wake up before your hope does.

Because misinformation does not become medicine simply because it was forwarded by Aunty Bola or Bose.

Rather share awareness, not rumours.
