The truth is that you can ask the Lord what to do about your life & situation, & He can show you. But once He shows you, dive into it with the whole of your life to survive, be nourished, & be established in it.
Because I realized that every work, skill or assignment in life requires your full attention. It requires your full attention, not part of it.
And if you're going to stand in & by it, then, doing it anyhow or only when you like will not make that assignment or skill deliver you from what you're going through.
Because the truth is that even to survive requires your complete energy & attention.
You may have to choose which you'll want to pursue because it is a matter of decision.
Sometimes, life is a matter of making daring decisions, choices & actions. Daring because you may have come to the point where that decision will determine the survival, growth & next phase of your life.
You see, there are certain decisions you have to take because you know what is pursuing you.
Listen! What is pursuing you is not the same thing that is pursuing someone else. You may be pursuing something & still have time to have an excuse why you can just take it easy.
But when something that is pursuing you have your life dependent on it, then, you should know that it is not just about surviving, but about a decision of life & death.
If you haven't come through this route, then, you're still comfortable.
I look through certain things & realize that the race is truly not given to the swift, nor the victory to those who runs first.
Life is mysterious without the leadership of the HolySpirit. Because you can have your own plans & agenda, but have them disrupted & changed.
I have seen people who thought they had found the love of their life later didn't get married to that person. And when you looked at it, you'd have thought that they're going to be together, but no!
Listen, if you think you have your whole life all figured out because of your current advantages or adventures, think again, because you have no clue what is coming ahead of you.
So, when you find God's little answers now, please take it.
