The most generic Nigerian answer to any question is “I’m coming.”
Where are you? I’m coming.
Go and buy rice in the next street. I’m coming.
Have you left the house? I’m coming.
Where exactly Nigerians are coming to, we do not know.
Because “I’m coming” can mean I’m on the way, I just stood up, I’m about to bath, or I’m still on my bed thinking about life.
It’s not a lie.
It’s not the truth.
It’s a national mindset.
