Let's be honest for a moment.
Lagos is one of the most expensive cities in Nigeria. Transportation is costly, food prices keep rising, and even a simple outing can drain your account faster than expected. Because of this, many people believe that a man must have plenty of money before he can think about dating.
But is that really true?
Can a broke guy genuinely date in Lagos, or has dating become a luxury only for people with money?
Some people argue that love should not be based on financial status. They believe that if two people truly care about each other, they can build together from the beginning, support each other's dreams, and grow through difficult times.
Others believe the reality is different. They say relationships require money, no matter how much love exists. Transport fares, phone calls, data subscriptions, gifts, dates, and emergencies all cost money. According to them, love alone cannot pay the bills.
Then there is another question:
Is it wrong for a woman to prefer a financially stable man, especially in a city as demanding as Lagos?
And is it fair to expect a man who is still struggling financially to stay away from relationships until he becomes successful?
So where do you stand?
🔹 Can a broke guy genuinely date in Lagos? 🔹 Should love come before money or money before love? 🔹 Would you date someone who is still trying to get their life together?
