There's a lie we've been carrying since childhood.
We were taught that burdens are heavy things. That they sit on our shoulders and press us into the ground. That they are punishments, or accidents, or proof that life is unfair.
But what if that was never true?
What if a burden isn't a weight at all — what if it's a whisper?
Think about it. Every problem you've ever faced didn't arrive to crush you. It arrived carrying something inside it — a quiet, persistent desire. Not to destroy you. Not to punish you.
To be solved.
That's it. That's the secret nobody tells you.
A problem is not your enemy. A problem is a question that already knows it has an answer — it's just waiting for you to find it.
So somewhere along the way, we started asking the wrong question. Instead of asking "how do I solve this?" — we started asking "why is this happening to me?"
We started demanding reasons.
Why does this person exist in my life?
Why did this situation happen to me?
Why am I dealing with this right now?
But here's the truth that changes everything:
You don't need a reason for something's existence.
You don't need a reason for someone's existence.
You only need the will to move.
Because the moment you stop chasing "why," you free up all the energy you were wasting on a question that was never going to save you — and you can finally give that energy to the thing that will: solving it.
Every burden you carry right now is not asking you to understand it.
It's asking you to solve it. Let that sink in. — Joab Peters
