ASK ACCORDING TO HIS WILL

1 John 5:14-15 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us —whatever we ask —we know that we have what we asked of him. (NIV)

Asking according to His will simply means asking according to His word in His Name. When you ask God for anything according to the provision of the Gospel it is His will, and He answers.

Jesus said '...whatever you ask in my name' John 16:23 In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Very truly I tell you, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.

This is what it is to ask according to His will: asking in the Name of Jesus according to the truth of the Gospel. For example it is a Gospel truth that Jesus took away our diseases and infirmities - Matthew 8:17. It is a Gospel truth that He brought us into His riches - 2 Corinthians 8:9. If I were sick and ask for healing it is according to His will. If I ask God to make me rich, which He did already in Christ, it is according to His will. This is what it is, it doesn't have any other formula, so when you pray be confident.

Confidently ask God anything and receive. If we ask anything according to his will, he hears (answers) us. And if we know that he hears (answers) us —whatever we ask —we know that we have (possessing) what we asked of him.

When you pray to God for anything take possession of it at that time you prayed, because He answered at that time. Don't go without receiving what you ask Him because He gives whenever you ask. See it and take hold of it. 

PRAYER

Thank You Father for always answering my prayers whenever I pray. Thank you for giving me whatever I ask. Through your word and in your Name I ask and receive always according to your will and even today I receive what I ask, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
