ALWAYS AVAILABLE AND RELIABLE

Hebrews 13:5 Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." (NIV)

No Christian would argue that God is always available and reliable. But in the face of challenges some wonder 'where is God?' Unpleasant circumstances may tell you that God has abandon you, you may not feel He is around. But God's availability is not judged by circumstances or feeling. You don't have to feel He is around. His word already tells you He is.

God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." This is the guarantee that He is available and reliable. He didn't say 'when you feel good or when circumstances are good that means I am around.' He says "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." That's a statement of commitment and assumed responsibility.

Take hold of His word; take God by His word. That's not the same thing as holding God to fulfill His word. It means living in the reality of His word. His word is the present state of things now; it's a statement of fact. Your response should be 'So I say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?" Hebrews 13:6
Speak in agreement with what He says and live in the light of it. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

My God is ever available and reliable, for He has said "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." So I say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?" Nothing! A thousand may fall at my side and ten thousand at my right hand but it shall not come near me. Hallelujah!
