DON'T JUDGE FELLOW CHRISTIANS
"Who are you to judge someone else's servant? To their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand." – Romans 14:4 (NIV)
Judgment is a heavy garment that does not fit the child of God. When you look at a fellow believer and find fault with their choices, their pace, or their convictions, Paul asks a piercing question: "Who are you?" You are not the Master. You do not own them. They are servants of Christ, accountable to Him alone. To judge them is to usurp the throne of God.
Notice the stunning confidence in this verse: "And they will stand." This is not a wish; it is a promise. God is not worried about His children; He is committed to them. He is able to make them stand. When you release the burden of judging others, you free yourself to trust God's work in their lives. Your role is not to correct every flaw you see, but to extend grace, knowing that the same God who is working in you is working in them.
Think of a believer whose actions or choices have irritated you recently. Instead of criticizing them in your heart or to others, commit them to God in prayer. Say, "Lord, You are their Master. Make them stand." Replace judgment with intercession.
PRAYER
Father, forgive me for the times I have taken Your place as Judge. I release my fellow believers into Your hands. I trust that You are able to make them stand. Help me to see them through Your eyes of grace, offering support instead of criticism, so that we may build each other up in love. In Jesus' name, Amen.
