New Gbagi Market, officially known as Bola Ige International Market, is one of the largest and busiest markets in Ibadan. It became popular after traders relocated from the old Gbagi area due to flooding, and today it stands as a major commercial hub in Oyo State.

The market is widely known for fabrics and textiles— Ankara, lace, brocade, guinea cloth, and Aso-Ebi materials. Buyers travel from different parts of Nigeria to shop for wedding and party fabrics. You’ll also find ready-made clothes, shoes, bags, household items, and more. With banks, security posts, and organised shop complexes, it is more structured than many traditional markets.
