I love ordering food online and I’ve tried every food delivery app in Lagos. From my experience, here are the best ones that’ll give you value for your money and are actually reliable. I’ve ranked them based on delivery time, food options and pricing:
1. Chowdeck: If I’m hungry hungry, this is my first stop. Chowdeck is fast, especially for local food, shawarma, small chops, and quick meals. It feels built for Lagos speed.
2. Bolt Food: Since it runs on Bolt riders, delivery is usually quick. Not always the cheapest, but good when time matters.
3. Jumia Food: This one has range. Local buka, fast food, proper restaurants, everything. If I don’t know what I want, I open Jumia Food and scroll until something speaks to me. Their delivery time is quite long though and they’ve changed my order a few times before.
4. Glovo: they have a lot of food options plus groceries, pharmacy runs, random errands. their delivery time is good too 👌🏾
