Happy social saturday!!!!!!!!!! A client sent me a message last week.
Just three words.
"It finally worked."
No context. No explanation yet. Just that.
I knew exactly what she meant, but I'm not going to explain it yet either.
We don't often talk about this part.
For two months, she posted consistently, and nothing moved.
Not a dip in effort, not a change in strategy, just silence that kept stretching longer than either of us expected.
She kept asking if she should switch niches, switch formats, or switch everything.
I told her to change nothing except one thing.
Stop writing posts and start writing letters.
Like she was talking to one person she actually knew, not an audience she was performing for.
The shift wasn't in the content.
It was in who she imagined reading it.
Missing that one thing is the difference between talking at a feed and talking to a person, and most people never notice which one they're doing.
This week, go back and read your last post out loud like you're saying it to one specific person you know.
If it doesn't sound like you talking to them, it's still a performance.
